Frequently asked questions from salon owners
Is the booking system really free?
Yes. Online booking, the team calendar, the booking widget, e-mail reminders, the waiting list and client cards are on the Free plan with no time limit. We take no commission on bookings. Paid plans from 199 Kč a month add included SMS, a salon website and more tools.
Can I take bookings on my own website?
Yes. Add the booking widget to your website with one line of code, as a button or the whole form. Bookings from your website go into the same calendar as those from Mixart.
Does Mixart suit a salon with several team members?
Yes. Add as many team members as you like and give each their services and working hours. The client picks a specific person or takes the first one free.
How do appointment reminders work?
Mixart automatically sends the client an e-mail reminder 24 hours and 2 hours before the appointment. You can change the times or switch the second reminder off. SMS reminders are included in the paid plans (50–400 texts a month depending on the plan); on the Free plan you buy SMS in packs.
Can the client cancel or move an appointment herself?
Yes, from the link in her booking confirmation. You set the cancellation deadline (24 hours before the appointment by default); after that only you can cancel. The freed slot is open for booking again right away.
Do I have to confirm every booking?
No, bookings are confirmed automatically. If you want to approve appointments yourself, switch on manual confirmation; returning clients can still be confirmed automatically.
What if a day is fully booked?
The client joins the waiting list. As soon as a slot frees up, we let her know and she can book it.
I'm switching from another booking system. How do I start?
When you register, paste a link to your current booking system or website. Mixart reads your services, prices and opening hours from it, and you just check them. Then replace the booking link on your website and Instagram.
Can I manage several locations in one account?
Yes. Each location has its own calendar, team and price list, and you switch between them in the dashboard.
