How reviews work on Mixart
Reviews are what people choose a salon on. So here are the rules in full — so you know exactly what you are trusting.
Who may write a review
Only a signed-in user, and one review per business. A review tied to a visit can be written once; the database enforces that, not just the form.
What a verified visit means
The "Verified review" badge goes only to a review written after a completed Mixart booking. We know the author really was there, when, and for which service. Reviews without the badge are valid, but we cannot evidence the visit.
Owners may reply, never delete
A business sees every review and may reply publicly. It cannot delete or hide one — not for a fee, not by arrangement. A rating the business edits itself is not a rating.
When we remove a review
Only when it breaks the rules: abuse, other people's personal data, advertising, text unrelated to a visit, or an obvious attempt to damage a competitor. A low star is not a reason. A person reviews every removal and the business is told.
What we publish about the author
A first name and the initial of the surname. Never an e-mail address, a phone number or a full name. Where no name was given we show a neutral label — never whatever word another system wrote into the form.
Imported ratings
For some businesses we also show ratings taken from other sources. They are always labelled as external and never enter structured data for search engines — the stars in Google results therefore rest solely on reviews written on Mixart.
How the stars are calculated
A plain average of all published Mixart reviews, unweighted, with no secret algorithm. We pass an aggregate rating to search engines only from three reviews up — a single review is not an average.
